By using Terra Concordia (the game) or the Terra Concordia Discord Bot, you agree to these Terms. Read them carefully. If you don't agree, don't use the software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of:

The Terra Concordia game ("the Game"), distributed via Valve's Steam platform.
The Terra Concordia Discord Bot ("the Bot"), operated by NCB Company within the Discord platform.

"NCB Company", "we", "us" or "our" refers to NCB Company (New Cards and Board Games), a sole-proprietorship registered in Brazil.

By installing, accessing, or using the Game or the Bot, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the software.

2. License to Use the Game

Upon purchase via Steam, NCB Company grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install and play the Game for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

Resell, sublicense, distribute or commercially exploit the Game.
Modify, decompile, reverse engineer or extract source code, except where permitted by law.
Use the Game to commit illegal acts or violate third-party rights.
Bypass anti-cheat or DRM mechanisms (where applicable).
Distribute modified versions of the Game without prior written consent.

3. Discord Bot — Acceptable Use

The Bot is provided free of charge through Discord. By inviting the Bot to a Discord server or using its slash commands, you agree to:

Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Not use the Bot for spam, harassment, automated abuse, or illegal activities.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attack the Bot's infrastructure.
Not impersonate the Bot or pretend to be an official representative.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove the Bot's services in any server at our discretion, without notice.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Game (e.g., screenshots, save files) or interact with the Bot. By submitting feedback, bug reports, or suggestions to us, you grant NCB Company a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that material to improve the Game and Bot.

Public content posted in our Discord server or via the Bot is subject to Discord's own Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

Third-party trademarks (Steam, Valve, Discord, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are referenced only for descriptive purposes.

6. Multiplayer and Online Features

The Game offers online multiplayer (Steam Networking peer-to-peer or LAN). You are responsible for your behavior in multiplayer sessions. Cheating, exploiting bugs, or harassment of other players may result in the loss of access to multiplayer features and removal from our Discord community.

We do not operate a centralized server for multiplayer; we cannot moderate or recover lost matches.

7. Refunds

Refund requests for the Game are processed exclusively through Steam's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

The Discord Bot is free; no refund applies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE GAME AND THE BOT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, SUSPEND, OR DISCONTINUE THE GAME OR THE BOT AT ANY TIME, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NCB COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE GAME OR THE BOT.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE GAME SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME ON STEAM.

10. Privacy

Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. Please read it before using the Game or Bot.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Bot at any time for violation of these Terms or Discord's policies. The Game license is revocable in the limited circumstances described in Section 2.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via the game's main menu (next launch), our Steam Community page and Discord server. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, unless mandatory consumer-protection law (Código de Defesa do Consumidor — Lei 8.078/1990) grants you a more favorable forum.
